This action research
project is evaluating a healthy living approach to community
development – can communities be involved in identifying
and addressing factors which affect their health and wellbeing?
It is a collaboration between public, voluntary and academic
partners and funded by a
Welsh Assembly Government initiative, one of seven projects
exploring ways of tackling health and social issues.
There are three communities
in Pembrokeshire currently involved in SHARP, where local healthy
living forums undertake community based interviews and action
planning.
This site will tell you what we did, how we did it and what
we found out.
There are details about our partners, useful information and
links to other sites.
Phase 1 of the SHARP Pembrokeshire Project is
now complete and our report is available for download from our
Useful Documents section.
