The SHARP Pembrokeshire Project
The Pembrokeshire SHARP project is evaluating a healthy living approach as a way of addressing health and wellbeing. It is exploring whether the healthy living approach able to make a positive difference to the way that services are run and decisions are made which affect a community’s health – can communities be involved in identifying and addressing issues affecting health and wellbeing?

The project is running in three Pembrokeshire communities. Click for a map.
Areas of study include:
  1. Supporting communities in the process of identifying their health needs and priorities and planning ways of meeting these needs
  2. Recording interventions and any perceived effect on people’s quality of life
  3. Evaluating the healthy living approach as a tool to respond to local needs
  4. Evaluating the healthy living approach from different starting points of community involvement
  5. Measuring the use of resources involved
  6. Assessing the impact on those involved in the process
